Christoph and Berenice

My brother in law decided to get married with two weeks notice to one of the most gorgeous gals you will ever lay you eyes on! Honestly, My husband had a feeling it would happen, but neither one of us expected it so soon. It was a beautiful and small ceremony held in "the Ranch" at Fish Creek Park in Calgary. Marty and Naomie

As my hubby was getting ready to take our dog out for a walk, I asked hime to tag along. I am sure as he saw me getting my camera bag it came to him that this walk was going to take a little longer than normal. I couldn't help it though, the evening was warm and gorgeous....it was a perfect oppourtunity to shoot.

Shane and Mariah

This couple was way too cute for words. Mariah bought shane this gift as an anniversary present last month. I set up a surprise slideshow commercial so that she could surprise him online. The big day arrived and we had a ton of fun in the studio. In fact, I think the two of them giggled for the entire hour they were here. It was a ton of fun working with them and I hope to see them on their next anniversary.

The Circle of Life

Earlier this month one of my best friend's families suffered a great loss. Their father(and Grandfather) passed away in February. At the end of the month, however a new baby was born into the family. I had the amazing opportunity to do a newborn session with him and his family. What a sweetheart. He was super calm and sleepy during his session. He did stop for a little something to eat during his session. Modeling is hard work, he had to keep up his stamina! His big brother even got into the action. It was so much fun!

The Waiting Game

I shot this maternity session a few weeks ago. According to the "mommy" they were going to finish their session and head over to the hospital to have the wee one. I talked to her the other day and it didn't exactly happen that way. She was still waiting. I am sure the baby is just staying in there a little longer just to get a little cuter. I witnessed a ton of love and tenderness that day and I am sure that they will make great parents!

A little Gem

I had the pleasure of meeting this little gal back in December when she was just over a week old. Needless to say she is still as super gorgeous as ever. It's amazing to see how she has grown over the last few months. Her smile was so engaging as she cooed at her mom. Here are some of my favorites from her session

It's newborn Season

WEll I think Spring is finaly starting to arrive. Currently there are so many newborns around the studios-it's so fabulous! I think I have managed to hold each one of them at least once. I think the best part of having babies in the studios is the sweet baby smell the leave behind. I swear I can still smell them hours later when I am uploading their photos into the galleries.

Ashlynn

This little darling was a super cutie! She had just learned to sit prior to out session and was awesome about showing it off. We put her in the stainless steel bucket and she looked adorable peeking out at me and her parents. I really hope to do another session with her soon so I can get another dose of her uber sweetness.
