Wow, my family and I just got back from a whirlwind vacation in Eastern Canada. We had a fantastic time and I can not wait to post some photos. However, it seems that I have a ton of emails and phone calls to return and my posting of more than a few photos will have to wait. Here's a little taste of us fooling around in Cavendish PEI. 
I bought myself another shiny, huge light modifier for the studio and took some photos with Moira just to try it out. she was reluctant at first, but when I told her she could be as silly as she wanted to, she was all for it!
I had the fantastic opportunity to photograph such a beautiful and wonderful baby before Christmas. She was so good, she just slept and grunted. For those that know me well know that I have been immunized against "baby fever", but this girl charms were strong. One of my coworkers contacted me to take these photos of her new niece. she wanted to give her sister a special gift for christmas. She also wanted to find away to include her nephew who passed away a few years before. Devon came up with a collage idea. Here are the results.
I had the pleasure of shooting an old friend and her daughter. Sheri warned me from the get go that Katelyn was crabby, so I was rather surprised when she wanted to hold my hand on the way to the first location. At her age she was more interested in everything but getting her photo taken. We managed to get a few good candids while she was playing. It's a good thing sheri has a great smile at a moments notice because she had to be ready as soon as her daughter was. We played at the park for a a bit and then went back to the studio to take some more shots. My daughter blew some bubbles to keep katie mesmorized for a second or two. That girl sure looks like her mom!
