Ilona and Brandon's Engagement Session

Early on Sunday morning I met with Brandon and Ilona for their engagement session. When we first got to the park the grounds were fairly wet which was a little limiting for some of the things I wanted to do with them. That's okay though, because they did amazing at everything we did. I must say and I know I've commented before, but Brandon knows how to shop, because her ring is absolutely gorgeous!! Congratulations to Ilona and Brandon, I am sorry about calling you Josh, I can assure you that there is no Josh in Ilona's life! I do have quite a few favorites from their session, but you have to check this shot first shot out! It's probably my favorite spontaneous action shot for 2008!

I think they look like a couple of Rock Stars here! I love it!


I twas fantastic hanging out with the two of you, and it was great to finally get to know you guys as a couple as well. I hope that you have a great time planning your wedding and I can't wait for the date!!

Happy Anniversary Renee and Byron!

Last night I was honored to shoot for my photographer friend Renee (Flare Photography). She and her hubby also chose the glorious art of Photos to express their anniversary love. You may remember that she just shot for me a couple of weeks ago. I returned the favor hoping that I would do just as Fantastic of a job as she had done. It was wonderful to meet her better half. I knew Renee from before and I thought she was great, and then I got to meet Byron...and as cheesy as it sounds...they complete each other. Together they are the full youthful package of full grown love. Congrats you guys!

Ben and Jill

did an enagement session for this super cute couple named Ben and Jill...oh yes, their dog Bridget. It was a great session and we even got some romantic snow for the soon to be wed couple! Honestly, they are such a gorgeous couple..how could they not get fabulous shots! Here are a few of my favourites.

Shane and Mariah

This couple was way too cute for words. Mariah bought shane this gift as an anniversary present last month. I set up a surprise slideshow commercial so that she could surprise him online. The big day arrived and we had a ton of fun in the studio. In fact, I think the two of them giggled for the entire hour they were here. It was a ton of fun working with them and I hope to see them on their next anniversary.

Gorgeous Couple

I have been wanting to blog this entry since last month, but I wanted to get permission before I posted any of these couples photos online. Emily and Blair contacted me in the summer to do some enagement photos for them in the fall. The day that we chose was windy, but we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. the fall colour were rich and bright. Emily was beautiful and I would have to say the Blair makes her glow. These two could definately teach a class in how to be the perfect couple, because that's exactly what they were!

Carla and Blair

Okay this couple was super cute and a lot of fun. Just when I thought we were at our max for cute, their little girl showed up and blew me away. This little darling stole my heart right away. Carla and Blair were married months earlier but wanted to hold a reception and get some wedding photos done.

Kim and Chris

I had the delight to shoot kim and Chris not only once but twice this year for their engagement photos. The first time we went out to Echodale. It got dark fast but we did manage to catch a few keepers as both of them had quite radiant smles in the surrounding dusk. A few weeks later we headed out to Centenial Park. They were a delight to shoot! Chris and Kim have these sparkling personalities that really seem to come out in front of the lens. These two love eachother and I got the photos to prove it!

Brett & Tiana

Brett had asked me to do some photos of his girlfriend Tiana for her grad. The two of them are a wonderful couple and were very natural in front of the camera. They seemed to have a lot of fun during the shoot, as did I. Her dress was fabulous with a corset lacing up the back. We ended the shoot by taking a couple of photographs with his gorgeous red truck.
