New life

On the evening of the "laptop incident" I did a really fun session with Adam and Holly. They are expecting a brand new bundle of Joy right before Christmas. They are honestly super excited about their new arrival and it seemed like the more time I spent with them the more I was getting excited for them. Their easy going nature and tenderness that they displayed was contagious. These two are going to make a great Mommy and Daddy to this little one!

My first Doctors Appointment

On a personal note, i finally made it to the maternity clinic. After an hour and a half we know know that the babies heart is good, my weight gain is almost where my pregnancy was at full term or and the pain in my hip isn't exactly normal. It looks like it's back to physio I go. The kids got to hear the baby today and I think it was a great moment. My son even held my hand when they were applying the jelly on my bump. All in all it was good day in maternity land. I felt so good this morning I even snuck down to the studio for a quick couple shots.

Only a few days to go.

As I looked at my calendar last week, I said to myself that I couldn't take any more bookings for June. My schedule was full of chicken scratches marking out the next two weeks as completely booked. Then Simon called me. He needed a family/maternity session done. No problem I thought, then he tells me that she is due in a week, so the session would have to happen soon. Her personality and honest earnest in his voice urged me to take on the session. Who would of thought that I would meet such a cute. It was a great session even though it was incredibly hot. These guys were a blast to work with and I wish them all the happiness as they progress through the rest of this week waiting for the little babe to arrive!

The Waiting Game

I shot this maternity session a few weeks ago. According to the "mommy" they were going to finish their session and head over to the hospital to have the wee one. I talked to her the other day and it didn't exactly happen that way. She was still waiting. I am sure the baby is just staying in there a little longer just to get a little cuter. I witnessed a ton of love and tenderness that day and I am sure that they will make great parents!

The Ninth Inning

I did another shoot for my girlfriend Jen. At the time of the session she had just over a week to go. Needless to say we planned this session a little too close to her due date. But the baby behaved and didn't come out early so we were able to get some very pretty shots. I have said it before, but mommyhood becomes her. She is so radiant even with all the little aches and pains of the ninth month.

Jen's Lovely lady lumps

My girlfriend Jen and Her hubby matt have to be cutest partents to be ever. She is a very proud mama already at 30 weeks. They came over for their Christmas photos and a really quick informal maternity session. I love these guys...and they are picture perfect!
